Multicolor printed paper brochure released in February, 1973, to promote travel on trains in the East. Color photographs and text describe accommodations and services aboard the Broadway Limited, Florida trains, Northeast Corridor trains, Montrealer and Night Owl. Multicolor printed paper brochure released in December, 1976, to promote Amtrak travel. Artwork and car diagrams describe the various accommodations aboard short- and long-distance trains. Brochure also explains the boarding process, dining services, and tour and rail pass options. "When you enter the world of Amtrak you find out just how smooth and simple traveling can be..." San Joaquin brochure, 1974.

Multicolor printed paper brochure advertising the new, daily San Joaquin (San Francisco/ Oakland-Bakersfield-(Los Angeles)). Brochure includes schedule, sample fares and station information. Since 1971, regional leaders had urged Amtrak to implement passenger service in the San Joaquin Valley, and on March 6, 1974, Amtrak launched one daily round trip. From Bakersfield, passengers could transfer to a motor coach to reach Los Angeles. From the Ann Owens Collection.

Multicolor printed paper brochure advertising the introduction of Turboliner equipment on the Detroit-Chicago route in April, 1975. Brochure includes schedules, sample fares and descriptions of towns along the route. "Pick of the Peaks--East" brochure, 1978.

Multicolor printed paper brochure issued for winter 1978-1979 to promote vacation packages to famous eastern ski resorts in Vermont and Quebec—including Mont Ste. Marie, Glen Ellen and Sugarbush Valley—accessible from designated "ski stations." Packages included round-trip coach fare for the Montrealer or Adirondack, lodging and lift tickets; meals, ski lessons and rental equipment were extra. From the Ann Owens Collection.
