Amtrak NEWS was a newsletter published for Amtrak employees. Feature articles in this issue focus on President Paul Reistrup's testimony before Congress detailing the plans and funding needed to operate Amtrak; reroutings required due to poor track conditions in Indiana; and Amtrak's extensive new five year plan, which includes new long- and short-distance routes.
