Multicolor printed paper brochure advertising the new, daily San Joaquin (San Francisco/ Oakland-Bakersfield-(Los Angeles)). Brochure includes schedule, sample fares and station information. Since 1971, regional leaders had urged Amtrak to implement passenger service in the San Joaquin Valley, and on March 6, 1974, Amtrak launched one daily round trip.
