Multi-color printed paper lunch menu issued in November 1975 for use on the Lake Shore Limited (Chicago-New York/Boston). The front cover features a vase with a carnation. Multi-color printed paper menu issued in 2003 for use on the Southwest Chief (Chicago-Albuquerque-Los Angeles). A painting by artist J. Craig Thorpe, "Partners in Conservation," graces the cover and depicts the Southwest Chief connection to the Grand Canyon Railway at the Williams, Ariz., station. Montrealer menu, 1980s.
Multi-color printed paper, bilingual English/French menu issued for use on the Montrealer (Montreal-Washington). In addition to breakfast and dinner options, the menu features "Soup, etc./Potage plus" - a hot bowl of soup accompanied by a loaf of French bread, gouda cheese and a chilled apple. The daytime Vermonter (St. Albans, Vt.-Washington) replaced the Montrealer on April 1, 1995. From the Ann Owens Collection.
