Although the menu above was assembled for a Democratic whistle-stop tour, the candidate(s) and dates are unknown. Over the decades, Amtrak has carried numerous presidents, first ladies and candidates for political office aboard regular and charter trains.
Private charter trains, which can be customized for a group, are available for meetings, retreats, events or conventions. Amtrak offers trip planning, such as catering and decorating, and a flexible itinerary. Each charter train is a unique experience based on the type of equipment, the origin and destination, onboard services and food and beverage choices.
