Multicolor printed paper route guide issued in December 1975 for customers aboard the Coast Starlight (Los Angeles-Seattle). Guide offers brief descriptions of cities and towns along the route, map and photographs. "Climbing snow-covered mountains and skirting valleys, your Amtrak train dips down to the seaside for a closer look...See the country the best way...the rail way." North Coast Hiawatha dinner menu, 1976.
Multi-color printed paper menu issued in June 1976 for use on the North Coast Hiawatha (Chicago-Billings-Seattle). The front cover features a collage of famous landmarks in cities and regions served by Amtrak, including the United States Capitol, Golden Gate Bridge, Statue of Liberty and a southwestern desert landscape. Multi-color printed paper menu issued in 2003 for use on the Southwest Chief (Chicago-Albuquerque-Los Angeles). A painting by artist J. Craig Thorpe, "Partners in Conservation," graces the cover and depicts the Southwest Chief connection to the Grand Canyon Railway at the Williams, Ariz., station.
