Amtrak NEWS was a newsletter published for and by Amtrak employees. Feature articles in this issue focus on riding on the City of New Orleans, renamed from the Panama Limited, starting Feb. 1, 1981; deployment of additional Superliners into revenue service; and the debut concert by Amtrak's "Big Band" in Philadelphia 30th Street Station.
