California Zephyr in Ruby Canyon, c. 2000.

This transparency, part of a set commissioned by Amtrak Marketing, depicts the California Zephyr in Ruby Canyon west of Grand Junction, Colo. The 25-mile long canyon is a popular spot for kayaking. The train is led by P42DC locomotive No. 76, wearing the Phase III color scheme as modified for the GE Genesis locomotives.
