This film slide, part of a set commissioned by Amtrak Marketing, shows the Sunset Limited passing through citrus groves in central Florida. The two locomotives wear the Phase III livery introduced in 1979.
In 1995, this route ran between Los Angeles and Miami via New Orleans; service east of New Orleans was suspended following Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
