This film slide, part of a set commissioned by Amtrak Marketing, shows the westbound Sunset Limited crossing Escambia Bay east of Pensacola, Fla. The bridge in the distance carries Interstate 10 over the water.

In 1995, this route ran between Los Angeles and Miami via New Orleans; service east of New Orleans was suspended following Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
