This digital photograph depicts a rounded bay window at the Glenwood Springs station as seen from aboard the California Zephyr. The station, built by the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad, opened on June 18, 1904. Constructed of Frying Pan River red sandstone and brick, it has jerkinhead cross gables flanked by medieval-inspired brick towers with pyramidal roofs.
