Press release providing a background on Amtrak, 1971.

Printed paper press release written to provide background information on the new National Railroad Passenger Corporation. Issued in late 1971, it goes over the Rail Passenger Service Act of 1970, objectives of the corporation and other subjects. Press release announcing final Amtrak route selections, 1971.

Issued on March 22, 1971, it explains the final route selections made by Amtrak.
