Color printed paper timetable issued June 1, 1983 to promote intercity passenger rail services across California. Trains include the California Zephyr (Chicago-Oakland/San Francisco) and Coast Starlight (Los Angeles-Seattle); the state-supported Spirit of California (Sacramento-Los Angeles), San Joaquin Service (San Francisco/Oakland-Bakersfield) and San Diegan Service (San Diego-Los Angeles); and CalTrain San Francisco Bay Area frequencies.
