Amtrak NEWS was a bi-monthly newsletter published for Amtrak employees. Feature articles in this issue focus on the discontinuation of the Mountaineer (Norfolk-Cincinnati-Chicago), creation of the Hilltopper (Washington-Roanoake-Tri-State Station) and conclusion of a special transcontinental steam excursion train that ran from Birmingham, Ala. to Portland, Ore.

Multicolor printed paper route guide issued in 1995 or later, when the Cardinal (Chicago-Washington) used bi-level Superliner cars. Ski Northeast brochure, 1974.

Multicolor printed paper brochure issued for winter 1974-1975 promoting vacation packages to famous Vermont ski resorts including Stowe, Bolton Valley, Jay Peak and Smuggler's Notch. Packages included coach or sleeper fares aboard the Montrealer (Washington-Montreal), where passengers could join a "carefree crowd." A highlight of the train was "Le Pub," a "dimly-lit, romantic cocktail lounge car" that featured a piano and singer on weekends. From the W. Mike Weber Collection.
