This original artwork, created for Amtrak Marketing by the advertising firm of Great Incorporated, was probably commissioned for use in a tour brochure. It depicts typical scenes from California including the Golden Gate Bridge; the San Diego Zoo; San Francisco's cable cars; and the Disneyland castle. The locomotive, which appears to be an F40PH, wears the Phase II livery introduced in 1975. Artist: Unknown From the Ann Owens Collection
