This original artwork, created for Amtrak Marketing by the advertising firm of Great Incorporated, was probably commissioned for use in a tour brochure. It depicts typical scenes from the Northeast including the Statue of Liberty; a stylized version of the Massachusetts State House; and the dome of the United States Capitol. The colonial era flag may indicate that this work was produced around the time of the country's bicentennial in 1976.
