Artwork for the Pacific Northwest.

Original promotional artwork depicting scenes from the Pacific Northwest. Ink pen and watercolor on paper. Dates to the late 1970s.

Artwork for the Pacific Northwest.
This original artwork, created for Amtrak Marketing by the advertising firm of Great Incorporated, was probably commissioned for use in a tour brochure. It depicts typical scenes from the Pacific Northwest including the Space Needle in Seattle; an American Indian totem pole; pine trees; and snow covered mountains. The locomotive, which appears to be an F40PH, wears the Phase II livery introduced in 1975. Artist: Unknown From the Ann Owens Collection.
