This transparency, part of a set commissioned by Amtrak Marketing, depicts the westbound California Zephyr along the shore of the Colorado River near Dell (Eagle County), Colorado, which is between the stops at Granby and Glenwood Springs. The train is led by P42DC locomotive #66, wearing the Phase III color scheme as modified for the GE Genesis locomotives. Photographer: William Kratville (American, 1929-2011) for Amtrak.
