This film slide, part of a set commissioned by Amtrak Marketing, shows the Sunset Limited crossing the Bay of St. Louis between the cities of Bay St. Louis and Pass Christian, Miss. The Superliner equipment wears the Phase IV livery introduced in 1993.

In 1995, this route ran between Los Angeles and Miami via New Orleans; service east of New Orleans was suspended following Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
