This film slide, part of a set commissioned by Amtrak Marketing, shows the Sunset Limited passing through Avon Park, Fla., which is between the stops at Winter Haven and Sebring.

In 1995, this route ran between Los Angeles and Miami via New Orleans; service east of New Orleans was suspended following Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
