Luncheon menu, 1976.

Multi-color printed paper menu issued in June, 1976, for use on long-distance trains. The front of this menu features a collage of famous landmarks and landscapes in regions served by Amtrak, including the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, a Mississippi River steamboat, Southwestern mesa and towering mountain. The locomotive at the bottom wears the Phase II paint scheme introduced in 1975. Lunch options include appetizers, salads, soups, sandwiches and desserts. From the Ann Owens Collection.
