"Peanut Special" menus, 1977.

Two-color printed paper menus (breakfast, lunch and dinner) created for the special charter train known as the "Peanut Special" that carried supporters of president-elect Jimmy Carter from Plains, Ga. to Washington, D.C. for his 1977 inauguration. The dinner entrees included southern favorites such as baked sugar-cured Georgia ham with orange slices. From the Ann Owens Collection.
