The train initially used the self-propelled Budd rail diesel cars pictured on the front of this brochure, but they were later replaced with diesel locomotives and new single-level Amfleet cars. Deteriorating track conditions and heavy freight traffic on the route resulted in poor on-time performance, and service was discontinued in September 1981. From the W. Mike Weber Collection.
